So in a new random event midnightoak has started to teach me old english. So far my main words are: goes, with, king and him; meaning my sentences are not that exciting. Though it is fun to randomly turn round and go "Legolas and Aragorn ferp mid Theodene cyninge".

My mum gave me a confidence boost recently with the words "you could write a book". Apparently she believes that if I put my mind to it I could actually manage it. This from the person who thinks being a writer is not a good career choice :D

So since this revelation what have I actually written beyond this lj entry? One lousy sentence. One! You would think I could do better than that. On the upside I have managed to finally make up my mind on the age of two characters in "Across the Divide" (a story I've been writing for five years) and put all the handwritten stuff on the computer. Strangely ideas are not an issue. I have more than I can possibly type. I just don't actually get round to typing them.

Time for a quick kick up the backside and large cups of tea I think.
